In Too Deep is a 1999 crime - drama film, written by Michael Henry Brown & Paul Aaron & directed by Michael Rymer. This film stars LL Cool J, Omar Epps & Nia Long. In Too Deep is a story about Dwayne Gittens who is an underworld boss so powerful that his nickname is God. He controls of eighty percent of the drug traffic in Cincinnati, Ohio, controls many of his opponents through bribery or intimidation & appears to be untouchable. A rookie police detective Jeffrey Cole is determined to be the man who brings down Gods underworld empire. He goes undercover & assumes an identity that allows him to infiltrate Gods organization. If you like Boyz N The Hood then this is a must buy. This dvd was the first movie i brought & it had me sitting on the edge of the seat from the beginning to the end. Excellent acting from LL Cool J who is the hard time gangster. Great actor Omar Epps plays the undercover cop which has been given a dangerous mission to stop the gangster. The film shows how the cop is slowly losing his true identity when he is getting more & more involved with the gangster gang. Non stop fast action & gun shotting film. A film that probably more for the lads but im a young lass & thoughly enjoyed this film. I would recommend this to anyone.

James Todd Smith is an American hip hop artist better known by his stage name, LL Cool J. He is best known for romantic ballads like I Need Love as well as hardcore rap like I Cant Live Without My Radio. He has also appeared in several films. LL Cool J was born & grew up in Queens, New York City. He signed to Def Jam in 1984 & released the underground hit I Need a Beat. The song was the first hit record for Def Jam & its success persuaded him to drop out of school to record Radio. The album was released to critical acclaim, as LL Cool J was one of the first rappers to use conventional song structure to make pop-oriented rap. I Cant Live Without My Radio & Rock the Bells were successful & helped the album go platinum. In 1987, he released Bigger & Deffer. The ballad I Need Love was one of the first pop-rap songs to be a hit.
