Consumer DVD Review [Top] I loved this film as a teenager & like it even more now I am in my 40s!
Great story, acting & direction. Burton & Eastwood & first class combination in this wartime setting. A wonderful twist in the tale to boot! Please put this film on DVD REGION TWO. AMR - Cheshire Biography: Clint Eastwood [Top] Clint Eastwood is Gorillaz debut single, released off their self-titled album Gorillaz in March 2001. It peaked at the #4 in the UK & #57 in the US. The song is strangely reggae -ish hip-hop with melodic guitar & cheesy horror-film sounds, based on a sample of The Good, The Bad & The Ugly. The verses are rapped by Del tha Funkee Homosapien, portrayed as a blue phantom in the video, while the chorus is sung as a haunting melody by 2-D. Directed by Jamie Hewlett & Pete Candeland. The video is animated. Every dead body that is not exterminated, gets up & kills. The people it kills, get up & kill in English & Japanese. This phrase was deemed offensive in some countries & a censored video was produced that omits this intro. The band is seen performing the song in what appears to be a white room, or at the very least some sort of room depicting a digital television screen in the backdrop. Then something weird happens to Russel & his hat begins to rise up on its own. The ghost of Del appears & starts to rap the song, all the while leaving the Gorillaz dumbfounded.

He was born Richard Walter Jenkins in the village of Pontrhydyfen near Port Talbot. With the assistance of his inspirational schoolmaster, Philip H Burton, he excelled in school productions. It was at this time that he began to develop the distinctive speaking voice that became his hallmark, having been encouraged by Philip to lose his Welsh accent. There is a widespread myth that Richard Burton won a scholarship to Oxford at the age of sixteen but left after six months. At the age of sixteen, he was forced to leave school & find work as a shop assistant. His former teacher, Philip Burton, recognising his talent, adopted him & enabled him to return to school. In 1943, at the age of eighteen, Richard Burton, was allowed into Exeter College for a term of six months study. This was made possible only because it was wartime & he was an air force cadet. In 1952, Burton successfully made the transition to Hollywood star, appearing in My Cousin Rachel opposite Olivia de Havilland.
