π is a 1998 American science fiction film directed by Darren Aronofsky. The title, π, is the lowercase 17 th letter in the Greek alphabet & is pronounced pi like pie. π was filmed on black-and-white reversal film & stars Sean Gullette, Mark Margolis, Ben Shenkman, Pamela Hart, Stephen Pearlman & Samia Shoaib. π had an extremely low budget, but proved a financial success at the box office despite only a limited release to theaters. Darren Aronofsky made the movie Requiem for a Dream after π. The film is about a theoretical mathematician, Maximillian Cohen, who believes that everything in nature can be understood through numbers. Utilizing the stock market as his data set, Max tries to uncover patterns in the stock market with the assistance of his computer Euclid. Max is plagued with migraine headaches that cause him to periodically blackout. He also suffers from extreme paranoia..

Without doubt as a dog owner one of my favourite all time films that i could watch repeatedly.

James Belushi is an American film & television actor. He was born in Chicago, Illinois but grew up in Wheaton, Illinois. He is the third of four children of Adam Belushi, an Albanian immigrant who left his native Qytezë village in 1934 at the age of 15 & Agnes, was born in the US of Albanian immigrants. James elder brother was John who was also a famous actor. James attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale & earned a degree in Speech & Theater Arts. From 1977 to 1980 he followed John & worked with the Chicago theater group The Second City. During this period he also made his television debut in the 1978 flop Whos Watching the Kids & also had a microscopic part in Brian De Palma s The Fury. His first larger role was in Michael Mann s Thief. From 1983 to 1985 he wrote & appeared on Saturday Night Live. He rose to greater prominence with his supporting roles in About Last Night & Salvador which gave him the opportunity for lead roles.
