Biography: Stephen Lang

Stephen Lang is a film actor from New York City, New York who started in theatre on Broadway. He played the role of Maj. Gen. George E Pickett in the film Gettysburg & Thomas Stonewall Jackson in the film Gods & Generals both from director Ronald F Maxwell. He played one of Dustin Hoffman s sons in the Broadway revival of Death of a Salesman. He also appeared in the first Hannibal Lecter film, Manhunter, as reporter Freddy Lounds, a role played in the remake by Philip Seymour Hoffman. On stage, he also originated the role of Col.
